Engine re-build continues....
The engine is nearing completion and a new addition arrives!!
Sump fitted and all bolts tightened down in sequence.
Chrome rocker cover fitted, engine starting to look complete with the new water pump and front cover re-fitted using a new gasket.
Oh yes!! Latest addition to the engine rebuild, a pair of Twin Dellorto 40 carbs on crossflow manifold with Pipercross socks.
New Misab gaskets and mounting kit from Burton Power.
Inlet manifold has been sanded down, cleaned and painted with two coats of red POR Engine paint to match the engine.
Trial fit of inlet manifold on engine, looking good. However, you may have noticed that the top entry distributor cap will get in the way of the carbs. Next on the shopping list is a side entry cap which will resolve this issue.
